For the Advancement
of Strategic Play
& Civic Generosity
VSLS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization chartered to cultivate the art of tabletop strategy, the discipline of fair competition, and a tradition of community service. We are the founding body of the CCCTTJS Series and steward a year-round program of local, regional, and global philanthropy.
Our Charter
As set forth in our founding charter, the Society's purpose and conduct are organized into four governing articles.
VSLS is founded to preserve and advance the tradition of tabletop strategy games as instruments of education, fellowship, and community service, open to players of every background and skill level.
Join the Society →The Society is directed by a volunteer board of governors and sustained entirely through membership patronage, sponsorships, and the generosity of our donors. No individual draws private profit from its operation.
Get Involved →Principal among our programs is the Combined Continuous Cumulative Tabletop Tour & Jubilee Series — a fifteen-round annual championship combining competitive play, ceremony, and fellowship.
View the CCCTTJS Series →Every contribution beyond operating necessity is returned to the community — through scholarships, local sponsorships, equipment grants, and philanthropic partnerships at home and abroad.
Make a Gift →Article III, In Practice
The CCCTTJS Series
Each year, the Society convenes a full calendar of tournaments — the Spring Tour, the Summer and Halloween Tours, the Winter Tour, and the seasonal Jubilees — culminating in cumulative rankings, Tour and Jubilee honors, and a private ceremony for sportsmanship, strategy, and scholarship awards.
Visit the series site to view the full calendar, register your interest as a player, and follow this year's standings.

In keeping with our pledge, the Society maintains a running account of its philanthropic activity — entered here as it is recorded in our annual reports.
Free tabletop game nights hosted at local libraries and community centers, with equipment donated to after-school programs and a standing scholarship fund for young strategists in need.
Touring exhibition matches and donated game libraries supporting sister clubs and schools across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, extending the Society's fellowship beyond Seattle.
Annual contributions to international literacy and game-access charities, bringing the tools of strategic play to communities with limited access to recreational education.
